Old North's 2017 Stewardship Campaign
The Stewardship Committee thanks the 257 friends and members who have responded to our 2017 Stewardship Campaign to date. Together we have pledged $492,000! We are closing in on our goal of $500,000 so if you have not pledged already, please do so today. Remember, if you increase your pledge by 25% over last year, the increase will be matched by a generous group of Old North donors.   Please mail in your blue pledge card or pledge online at: www.onchurch.org/donate.
New Member Information Sessions
New Member information sessions will be held on Sunday, March 5th and Sunday March 12th following the 10:00 services in the Stacey Street building.  New Member Sunday will take place at the 10:00 service on Sunday, March 19th.   Any one who is interested in learning more about membership in Old North Church is welcome to attend the sessions during which our Ministers and the Membership Committee members will be present to answer questions and give presentations about the organization and history of our church.  For more information please contact Linda Davis at [email protected] or 781-639-0405.

Thank You... Thank You... Thank You!
Thank you all from near and far who contributed to rolling out a big welcome to our friends and neighbors from Temple Emanu-el and St Andrews last Sunday. The sanctuary was packed and our guests lingered long in the parish hall to enjoy the delicious food and beverages so thoughtfully prepared to add substance to our spirit of partnership. Dani sends her heart filled thanks for the warm hospitality. You did ONC proud!

Rehearsals for the Palm Sunday Lenten Concert Begin March 1st
Rehearsals for the annual Palm Sunday Lenten Concert will begin on Wednesday, March 1st at 7:30pm in the Parish Hall. This year's repertoire will include Requiem in c minor, a stunning work, by Michael Haydn. (last performed at Old North in 2013). The young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart attended the first two performances of Haydn's Requiem twenty years before he composed his own version, which is strikingly similar! Rehearsals will take place every Wednesday evening through Palm Sunday and will include two Saturday rehearsals, April 1, and 8 from 10am-12pm. The performance will take place on the evening of Palm Sunday, April 9, at 7:30pm. All interested singers should contact Maria vanKalken at [email protected] so that we will be sure to have enough scores at the first rehearsal. All singers welcome!

Fair Meeting Has Been Rescheduled

Tuesday, March 7 at 7pm

Now that the dust has settled from the Fair and the holidays are past, we would like to have a follow-up meeting to share your comments, suggestions and wishes for the future. The Fair was a wonderful success , including the Around the World Raffle, so we want to assess what interest there is in going forward for another Fair, another Raffle, or take a break.  Any other ideas for fundraising at ONC would be appreciated, as well. We will be meeting on Tuesday, March 7 at 7:00 pm in the Parish Hall.  If you cannot attend, please do send your comments to share with the group. A notice in the newsletter will be posted and encourages any others interested in getting involved to attend. Thanks to you all! Ginny and Judy
