"Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself.
When you become a leader, success is all about growing others."
-Jack Welch
In November, the 2017 cohort of Art with a Heart's
Art of Leadership Program
attended their first group retreat.
The retreat was an insightful and fun bonding experience for the group. Students learned about each other and about their leadership styles and values. In addition to the work, students enjoyed a ropes course,
zipline, kayaking and making s'mores during an evening bonfire. It was clear by the end of the weekend that the leaders had grown personally and as a community.
