Dear Madam / Sir,

MMA are delighted to welcome you back to the second issue of Contender, our monthly newsletter loosely based on recruitment marketing but generally just an excuse to say hi.

As ever, there's two free packs of biscuits (pink wafers and party rings) to the first non-googling guesser of the film quote in the subject line, always from a classic. Congratulations to Jordan Mori of Hensen Associates who won last month, beating quite a few confident but wrong answers (Raquel Fernandes of The Mighty Fox to name but one!). To quote Jordan, if you don't know Marlon, you don't know movies.

Elsewhere in the newsletter, there have been some interesting policies proposed for the general election and we take a look at what a three day weekend could mean for recruitment. We've included some thought leadership on why you should send a regular newsletter too.

Like an eager bride, we're planning our big day way too far in advance. You're welcome to join us in Oxfordshire this summer for our first birthday party, aka an excuse to have a barbecue and a babycham - and meet fellow nice recruitment people.

As ever, If there's anything we can help you with in the meantime, please reply to this newsletter, or call us on 01865 57 59 61. One thing we've noticed from across the recruitment landscape in recent weeks is that three of our partners have asked us to run Google Adwords campaigns for them, whilst we recently delivered three new recruitment websites. So if either of these are on your shopping list, we're in the know.

Lots of love,

All the team at MMA

PS We created a guilty girl / boy band spotify playlist yesterday, please feel free to garner opinion from your office and add to it (max one per person). Thanks already to Kariel at La Fosse for Spice up your Life!

Did Somebody Say Three Day Weekend?
What the Green Party's offering could mean for recruitment

As part of the upcoming snap election, each party has offered their own unique selling points, with the green party proposing a three day weekend.

Are You Sending A Regular Newsletter?
Turn your data into gold dust

Unless your website sends automated emails to subscribers, you should send a regular newsletter to everyone on the database.

Our First Birthday Party!
