"Indeed, it is by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5)."
Add Your Personal Intentions
During this most Holy Season of Lent, we are reminded of the great gift given to us through the passion and death of Our Lord Jesus Christ. On Calvary's hill, redemption was the victor and salvation was the prize. God wants us to experience that victory and salvation in the midst of all things, and most especially in the midst of our sufferings, travails, disappointments, and sorrows. When we unite our sufferings to Christ, redemptive grace flows into our circumstances bringing us freedom, healing, perseverance and triumph.
What better way to enter into this reality than through a Novena of Masses celebrated for just this intention? Through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass the mystery of our salvation is made present again giving us opportunity to entrust all of our cares and woes to the One whose passion and death makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Indeed, it is by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Our celebrant for this Novena of Masses is Father Philip Scott, F.J., Retreat Master and Founder of Family of Jesus. Well known for his charism of healing, the Novena will begin with Mass on April 9 and conclude with the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday, the first day of the Triduum. The Novena will lead you to Golgotha where, at the foot of the Cross you can deposit all of your cares and woes uniting them and entrusting them to Jesus' eternal sacrifice.
I invite you to use the link below to send me your name and those of your loved ones so that we may offer this Novena of Masses for your personal intentions. In this way, we can truly unite our sufferings and crosses to the redemptive grace of Jesus' passion, death and resurrection. My prayer is that these Masses will be a source of abundant grace, protection and healing for you and your loved ones.
May your Lenten Season be holy and fruitful and may this Novena assist in bringing it to the fullness of life in Christ Jesus on Easter Sunday morning.
In His Service,
