| A message of hope and peace... It's only 7 paragraphs in length. It was written by Mattie when he was 13 years old. It is one of last e-mails Mattie ever wrote. Mattie was not strong enough to complete the essay he was outlining in this e-mail. But his love and passion for all of humanity never wavered during his final months on earth. And I believe that today, Mattie is kneeling in prayer -- with hope, for peace -- for each of us, and for our world. This excerpt from Mattie's "Just Peace" book was written more than a decade ago. But the message Mattie shared then remains relevant -- and much needed -- today.
