 Dear Chamber Members:

Are you curious how Dothan City Schools and individual Dothan schools performed on the 2010 Alabama Math and Reading Test (ARMT)? Do you want to know how Dothan City Schools performed compared to area and similar school systems? Would you like to see finance and demographic comparisons of Dothan City Schools to area and similar school systems? If so, make plans to attend the annual PARCA (Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama) Community Presentation this Monday, September 19 at 2:00 pm at the Honeysuckle Middle School Auditorium. PARCA, an independent research firm based at Samford University, was hired by YWCD to analyze recent test results and present information regarding Dothan City Schools to our community. More information about PARCA is available on their website at PARCA All parents, business leaders, interested citizens, and media are invited and encouraged to attend. Also on Monday, September 19, after the PARCA Presentation, there will be the regular scheduled Dothan City School Board Meeting at 5:00pm at the Teachers Center at Central Office.
