It is important for us all to repond to the Charity Commission's Consultation on official warnings to charities and trustees. The Charities Act 2016 gives the Charity Commission a new power to issue an official warning to a trustee or to a charity when it considers that there has been a breach of trust or duty, or other misconduct or mismanagement in the charity. The commission wants to seek views on how it proposes to use this new power. Closes 23rd September 2016.

It's worth keeping an eye on Make a Difference Entertainment - a small charity and social enterprise that's really going places. Aimed at supporting marginalised communities to create innovative and engaging digital content, their projects help people skill-up both in front of and behind the camera. We helped them with trustee development just recently.
