2014 EAP Applications Now Available Online! 

DoverOnline applications now available for the 2014 EAP. Login to your USHJA account and click  "EAP Regional Clinic Application" under the Emerging Athletes Program section.

 

Applications are currently being accepted for the Regional Training Sessions taking place during the summer months of 2014. The intensive four-and-a-half day training sessions will be taught by some of the country's top clinicians and stable managers. Please check the EAP Calendar for the Regional Training Session in your area. Riders interested in participating in the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program must submit the EAP Application and required documents to USHJA no later than the respective deadline. Applicants are also required to pass the USHJA Horsemanship Quiz Challenge Level One Quiz, with a score of 80% or higher, to be considered for participation in a Regional Clinic.

Emerging Athletes Program 2014 Nationals Host Facility Application Now Open!

The Emerging Athletes Task Force is inviting host facility applications for the 2014 National Training Session. Throughout all levels of the Emerging Athletes Program, presented by Dover Saddlery, USHJA works in partnership with the host facilities to produce quality Regional and National Training Sessions.

 

The National Training Session host facility does not have to be a show facility to be considered. Private farms, boarding facilities, universities, prep schools, et cetera may apply, as long as the facility can meet USHJA/EAP requirements.

 

Applications close on March 26, 2014.

Revised Specifications for 2014 Children's & Adult Amateur Jumper Regional Championships 

 After reviewing competitor and trainer input from 2013, the USHJA Children/Adult Jumper  Task Force has revised the Specifications for 2014. Please be sure to read the Specifications in their entirety prior to applying for the Championships.  

 

The four Regions will remain the same and are composed of the USHJA zones as follows:

  • North - Zones 1, 2 and 5
  • South - Zones 3 and 4
  • Central - Zones 6 and 7
  • West - Zones 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12

Are you a Children's or Adult Amateur Jumper rider that may be interested in a chance to compete in a Championship? Applications for riders are now available online and standings for 2014 are being updated regularly.

2014 USHJA Horsemanship Quiz Challenge

Now is the time to register for the 2014 Horsemanship Quiz Challenge! This educational  program is open to all USHJA members, 20 and younger (per USEF competition rules). Your high scores from the online HQC Level One and Two Quizzes may grant you an invitation to participate in the HQC Finals, held in conjunction with the Emerging Athletes Program National Training Session taking place in November 2014.

 

All HQC participants must complete both the Level One and Two Quizzes by August 1, 2014. Visit the HQC webpage to learn more and register for the new season or contact Rion Day at (859) 225-6703.
