Here are some activities happening around the nation on April 30th: 

  • Moms Clean Air Force (@MomsCAF) and Healthy Schools Network (@HealthySchoolsN) will conduct a national Twitter-chat on April 30th, 2-3pm EST about National Healthy Schools Day.  Follow the hashtag #HealthySchoolsDay. More info here.     
  • Regional Asthma Management and Prevention (RAMP) and the California Schools Environmental Health and Asthma Collaborative (SEHAC) will conduct their School Symposium on Asthma 2013!  More info here.
  • The Connecticut Department of Public Health and their School Indoor Environment Resource Team will have an exhibit at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford, CT.  Many agencies and school-based organizations will be present and tabling information related to healthy school environments for kids.     
  • Green and Healthy Wisconsin will offer a free training session designed for school teams to learn about how to receive Green and Healthy School certification and recognition.  More info here.
