I'm back at my desk after (some say) a well deserved break from the action to visit family, friends, beer gardens, museums and other fine things (like motor races) across the pond last week. The place hasn't burned down or anything but it usually takes an old guy like me a couple days to get back up to speed, so be gentle this week.

Managed to cross a few items off my 'bucket list' last week, visiting both the Porsche and Mercedes-Benz Museums in Stuttgart and catching the DTM Finale at Hockenheim on Sunday. Jamie Green led most of the race in the orange Audi but was overtaken by Mattias Ekstrom's Red Bull Audi (running second here) on the last lap to take the win. 

Boy, I'd love to see that series run a race over here!
