The Clermont Hotel features the Clermont Lounge.
Clermont Hotel Partners LLC has purchased The Clermont Hotel, located at 789 Ponce de Leon Ave. in the Virginia Highlands submarket of Atlanta, with plans to redevelop the property as a boutique hotel. The historic building was built in the 1920s as apartments and converted to a hotel in the 1940s. The Clermont Hotel includes an iconic club on the ground level, which has been in operation for nearly 50 years. The hotel has been shut down since Dec. 31, 2009. 
Jake Reid of Franklin Street Real Estate Services represented the seller, Fairway Capital, in the transaction. The buyer is an affiliate of Nashville, N.Y.-based BNA Associates LLC.

STOCKBRIDGE, GA. -- A joint venture between Strategic Capital Partners LLC and Atlanta-based Kodiak Ventures has acquired South 75 Center in Stockbridge for an undisclosed price. The development includes two flex office buildings. It is 84 percent occupied and was purchased from the lender, which foreclosed on the property in 2011. The strategy is to stabilize the property at 90 percent occupancy as well as renew the largest tenant, which expires in 2017. Third-party medical suppliers and distributors occupy much of the nearby office space due to the proximity of Henry Medical Center, a 215-bed hospital.

Horizon Creek Distribution Center is a 482,984-square-foot industrial development in Suwanee.
Lincoln Property Co. Southeast has brokered leases totaling 236,908 square feet at Horizon Creek Distribution Center, a three-building industrial park in Suwanee. The 482,984-square-foot industrial park is located approximately 32 miles northeast of Atlanta. Atlanta Cable Sales Inc. renewed its lease of 96,675 square feet for an additional seven years. Chip Craighill of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Sienna Corp. signed a 10-year lease for an 88,429-square-foot building that includes more than 12,000 square feet of office space. Adam Richards with Resource Real Estate Partners represented the tenant. Personal Touch Deliveries Inc. signed a five-year renewal and expansion totaling 51,804 square feet. Brad Pope of Hailey Realty Co. represented the tenant. 


Denton Shamburger with Lincoln represented the landlord, a state pennon fund, in each of the leases. Lincoln acquired Horizon Creek Distribution Center on behalf of the pension fund in August 2011, and took over management and leasing of the property

-- The "Commercial Real Estate Show" has entered new markets by expanding its reach to 10 radio stations across the country. Michael Bull, president of Bull Realty, hosts the Atlanta-based talk radio show, which was originally launched in October 2010. 
The one-hour weekly program examines commercial real estate and business issues by talking with experts. Guests have included analysts, accountants, brokers, lenders, developers, attorneys and architects. 
This January, the radio show began to air in the following markets (all times are local):

* Minneapolis/St. Paul -- KYCR 1570 AM, Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
