Knowledge & Nibbles, a popular series that nourishes both mind and body - lunch at a neighborhood restaurant, followed by a discussion of an upcoming play that provides plenty of food for thought - returns for a new season at Palm Beach Dramaworks on Thursday, October 8, with an intimate look at William Inge's Picnic. Director William Hayes, cast members, and designers will be on hand to talk about bringing Inge's Pulitzer Prize-winning play to life.
Each Knowledge & Nibbles event will now be presented on the Thursday prior to Opening Night.
Due to the high demand for tickets, the series has evolved these past two seasons. Last year, lunch was moved out of the theatre and into downtown restaurants to accommodate more people. This season's featured restaurants are Grease, Lynora's Osteria, Hullabaloo, Table 26, and Leila. But restaurant seating is limited and tickets go fast, so patrons now have the option of attending only the program at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre.
Knowledge & Nibbles is presented in partnership with the PBD Theatre Guild. Ticket prices for lunch and the program are $30 for PBD Guild members and $40 for non-Guild members. Tickets for the program only are $15 for Guild members and $20 for non-Guild members. All lunches begin at 11:30am, with the discussions following at 1:00pm.
