I have noted before that I am no fan of infographics, but sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words. Here's one called Design for a Product Lifetime that uses examples from toasters to computers to cars to explain how to design for disassembly and repairability and explains why it is important. It is just a different way of thinking.
