The 100 Men Campaign Has Been Busy!
Just over a week ago, members of the 100 Men Campaign went to work at Enneking's Auto Body alongside a team of Safe Passage volunteers, preparing old newspaper vending machines for use in an upcoming Little Free Libraries initiative.
Volunteers went to work scrubbing, sanding and washing the boxes, preparing them for a brand new coat of paint they'll receive later this week.
Once they're ready, the painted vending machines will be taken to Safe Passage and decorated by volunteers as part of Hillenbrand's One Campaign. The final products will then be filled with children's books and placed throughout town.
We would like to give a big thank you to Chris at Enneking's Auto Body for his generous donation of his time, space, and resources. You're making a difference in our community, one coat of paint at a time!
If you're interested in helping with the One Campaign in the upcoming week, or would just like more information on how to get involved with other projects like this, email Donna Huffmaster at [email protected]. She will be more than happy to find a project for you to work on around the shelter.
