This premier 1000 Islands event brings visitors from all over to quaint Cape Vincent to celebrate the community's heritage with French foods -- Mmmm...french pastries -- crafts, a parade, fireworks and more.

Napoleon Bonaparte leads the parade each year. His brother Joseph settled in the area and it is said that the emperor was to do the same, but he never made it, having been sent into exile.
