12th Annual Day for Downtown
Join Phoenix Community Alliance (PCA), HandsOn Greater Phoenix, for the 12th Annual Day for Downtown. On November 12, 2011, hundreds of corporate and community citizens participate in a day of service to benefit the Greater Downtown Phoenix community. PCA will be organizing at Steele Indian School park clean-up and tree planting in partnership with HandsOn Greater Phoenix. Our parks are among our most treasured open spaces and in these hard times, helping hands are what will make all the difference to assure that we preserve and maintain our parks for today and for tomorrow!
Please join us!
November 12, 2011 8:00am to 12:00pm
Bring your family, friends and neighbors willing to lend a helping hand to keep one of Phoenix's most beautiful parks well-maintained. Steele Indian School Park is a 75-acre park located at the northeast corner of Central Avenue & Indian School Road. The main entrance is off of Third Street. Just follow the arrows as you drive into the park and they will lead to the parking lot. We plan to meet at 7:55 a.m. at the Memorial Hall Building located west of the park entrance gates.
Please let us know you if you are coming by calling Todd Byard 602.973.2212 x 233 or register at Steele Indian School Park Plant/Cleanup
Please wear closed toe shoes, comforatable clothes that you can get dirty, bring water and sunscreen.
**Please pass this information onto your HR or volunteer coordinators, colleagues, family, or friends.**
