Project Atrium: Gustavo Godoy
This Saturday, the second installment in the Project Atrium series opens and, once again, transforms the Atrium Gallery. This single, large-scale sculpture by the Los Angeles artist Gustavo Godoy, fills the forty-foot depth and pierces its equally cavernous heights.

Inside Project Atrium Lecture with Gustavo Godoy
Sculptor Gustavo Godoy discusses his process, career and MOCA installation. Partly constructed in the studio but always elaborated in situ, Godoy’s installations combine the strategies of prefab architecture and improvisation into a site-related formal riffing that seems simultaneously architectural and organic. Godoy's art is constructed to be interactive, allowing visitors to climb up into the sculpture itself.

Charitable IRA Rollover provisions extended through Dec. 31, 2011
The Charitable IRA Rollover provisions were extended through Dec. 31, 2011, allowing taxpayers who are age 70˝ or older to make gifts directly of up to $100,000 from their IRAs to qualified charities without having to declare the amount taken from the IRA as taxable income. Note, however, they are not eligible to receive a charitable income tax deduction. The donor must make an outright gift—as gifts to donor advised funds, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, supporting organizations or private foundations are not eligible. This provision was first enacted in 2006 and now, thanks to Congress, will remain in effect through 2011. For more information, please visit
