CAPS/ CANARYVILLE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION MEETING:
The last CAPS/CIA meeting of 2016 will be held on
Wednesday, November 16th at 6:00 p.m.
, in the St. Gabriel School hall. We hope you are able to join us! As in the past, toys are collected at this meeting for children who have suffered at the hands of domestic abuse. You may drop donations at the hall or bring them with you to the meeting. Thank you in advance for your generous and kind donations!

SOUTH LOOP CHAMBER OF COMMERCE COCKTAIL PARTY:
The South Loop Chamber of Commerce will be having their 2016 Cocktail Party at the Bard's Room inside U.S. Cellular Field from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The Chamber will be honoring Fabulous Freddie's Italian Eatery and The Bertucci Family. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by contacting the South Loop Chamber at 773-254-7225.
Friday, November 18th
VALENTINE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB PARTNERING FOR PEACE:
Alderman Thompson will be joining Commander Godsel in a basketball game against the Valentine Boys and Girls Club's teen group. The game will kickoff at 5:30pm. In order to raise money for the Teen Programing the entrance fee will be $1 for children and $3 for adults. The Valentine Boys and Girls club is located at 3400 South Emerald Avenue.
Saturday, November November 19th
ST. GABRIEL VENDOR FAIR
FAMILY FUN-You are invited for a fun day of shopping at the St. Gabriel Vendor Fair. The fair will be held in the school hall 4500 S. Wallace on Saturday, November 19th from 9:00 am-1:00pm. Table space is $35 with a $25 minimum value donation for our raffle table. Please call the rectory at 773-268- 6636 or email Lis at youngl@stgabrielchicago. com. This event is hosted by the St. Gabriel's Guadalupanos Committee. There is NO ADMISSION CHARGE and there will be a FREE CRAFT TABLE FOR THE KIDS!

COMMUNITY MEETING FOR 4403 SOUTH WALLACE
The property owner of 4403 South Wallace Street approached my office requesting a zoning change.
We are hosting an informational meeting to gather community feedback at Taylor Lauridsen Park (704 West 42nd Street) at 6:00pm.

In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, our office will be closed Thursday, November 24th & Friday, November 25th and we will reopen on Monday, November 28th at 8:30 a.m. We wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and remain very thankful this holiday season for all your support and good wishes.
