"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor." IS 61:1 (CITED IN LK 4:18)
Message from the President
Dear Parents,

It is so hard to believe that we are ending this semester. Students have been studying for their finals, and I am sure they are ready for their Christmas Break. I know that this will be a wonderful time spent with friends and family.

Celebrating the Nativity of Jesus gives us the opportunity to once again return to the true spirit of this season. Sometimes we can easily get caught up in the commercialized holiday that it seems to be. Let us continue to fight to bring Christ back to our celebration and to make it a season of faith and charity. Together we can rediscover the true spirit of Christmas.

From all of us at Cardinal Ritter to all of you and your families, have a truly Blessed and Merry Christmas.

God Bless,
Mrs. Hoy

Estimados Padres,

Dios bendiga,
Sra. Hoy
Message from the Principal
Dear Parents,

This will be our last school newsletter for 2017. We will resume its publication on January 5, 2018. Until then, I want to take this time to wish all of you a very safe and blessed Christmas season, one that is filled with much merriment and time spent together. We know that our students have worked very hard over this past semester, so they certainly deserve some rest and relaxation.

Each year we are so blessed to have the opportunity to come together as a family and partake in our annual Christmas feast. I wish to thank our Parent-Teacher Association, especially Ana Adams, for all of their hard work in organizing and executing today’s feast. The work of all of our volunteers is greatly appreciated and never goes unnoticed. I also want to thank Mrs. Cumming and Mrs. Bloom for their work with our students to provide our entertainment throughout the feast.

Shortly after we return from Christmas break, please know that we will be finalizing all student report cards for Quarter 2, and we will begin our 2018-2019 registration of current families beginning the week of January 8th. Please look for information coming home with your student that week.

Once again, have a wonderful Christmas and remember to spend some of your time over these next few weeks together in prayer. After all, it is the birth of our Savior and not presents that should be celebrated this season.

Remember that classes will resume on Wednesday, January 3, 2018! Until then, stay warm, stay safe, and stay close to those you love.

God Bless,

Mrs. Ramos
