Featuring the Ron McCurdy Quartet, this creative collaboration of words, sounds and images explores the wonderful world of blues, gospel songs, boogie woogie, bebop and progressive jazz, Afro-Cuban mambo music, West Indian calypso, African drumming and more!

Empty Bowls
Mayfield,KY
Twenty restaurants in Mayfield and Graves County will offer samples of their tasty cuisine Saturday, April 29, at the festive 4th annual Empty Bowls Event.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. you can try out a smorgasbord of yummies at the big community gathering, which raises money for the Mayfield-Graves County Food Pantry. The eating extravaganza will be held at Trace Creek Baptist Church's Family Life Center, 3357 State Route 131.
For a $15 ticket each diner gets to pick from a mixture of a unique hand-painted bowls and specially selected bowls to gather samples of the goodies. After eating, participants take the bowls home as a reminder of hungry people around the world and in their own community.

One of the most popular singers in modern country music, Vince Gill is famous for his top-notch songwriting, world-class guitar playing and warm, soaring tenor, all wrapped up in a quick and easy wit. Gill achieved his big breakthrough in 1990 with "When I Call Your Name," which won both the Country Music Association's Single and Song of the Year awards as well as a Grammy. Gill has won 18 CMA Awards, including Song of the Year four times - making him the mostawarded artist in that category in CMA history. Since 1990, Gill has won 20 GRAMMY Awards.

May 27 - 28 10th Annual Spring into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell
Hopkinsville, KY.
Activities will run Saturday May 27th from 12pm-9pm and Sunday May 28th from 12pm-6pm. Both days of the festival will include many new and exciting activities. There will be fifteen free carnival rides, a hilarious wild west stage show "Tumbleweed Crossing", This laugh-a-minute show is an award winning Wild West comedy gunfight stunt show. It will take you on a zany trip back to the Wild West where laughs fly like bullets and hilarity law of the land. You can also memorialize your visit to this year's festival by getting free pictures at the photo booth, having a free caricature drawing done, or make a video with the ever popular Boogie Heads. Saturday will feature an extended parachute jumpers show before the concert featuring Tyler Farr, and after the concert there will be a gorgeous fireworks show that will certainly be .
