123 Come to Sequim with Me
123 Come to Sequim with Me.  That's the inviting theme for the 123rd Sequim Irrigation Festival.  Since 1896 we've been welcoming visitors to help us celebrate the irrigation ditches that turned an arid valley into fertile farmland.

This family-friendly, community event offers the best of small town life, and is just one of many reasons that Sequim was named the Best Northwestern Small Town in the 2017 USA TODAY 10Best competition.  Join us May 4 - 13 for two full weekends of family friendly events.  Our website can help you find everything you need to plan you trip.

Crazy Callen Weekend - May 4 - 6

The first weekend of the festival is named for D.R. Callen who first suggested that water could be brought from the Dungeness River out to the Sequim-Dungeness Valley.  People might have thought he was crazy, but the town rallied and built the irrigation ditches that still exist today.

These days we celebrate with the Innovation Arts & Crafts Show, Family Fun Days, and a host of other events.  Crazy Callen Weekend.
Kid's Parade at Family Fun Days

What better way to celebrate the water that makes farming in the Dungeness-Valley possible, than the opening of the Sequim Farmer's Market.  The market runs on Saturday's May through October in downtown Sequim.
The Sequim Farmer's Market features locally grown, organic produce.

Grand Finale Weekend - May 10 - 13

A grand parade, logging show, car show, fireworks, and a carnival are a few of the events that take place during this action packed weekend. You won't want to miss a thing.  Grand Finale Weekend.

Irrigation Royalty represent Sequim at the Grand Parade and throughout the Northwest.

Join us for a slice of small town life and make your plans today to take part in the fun. You can learn about all of the Irrigation Festival events on their website irrigationfestival.com.
