Welcome to the "13 Days of a Boston Project Christmas!"
As we approach the end of 2011, we would like to take a few days to share about the year from a Boston Project perspective! As the song goes, "on the __ day of Christmas, my true love gave to me..." Our true love is Jesus Christ, and we want to share with you all of the great gifts He has given our ministry and neighborhood this year. We hope you enjoy!

13 Streets in our Neighborhood

While you usually hear the "12 days of Christmas," we just had to start with 13 because our neighborhood is where our heart is!  The Boston Project has a unique call to serve in this specific community, called the "Talbot-Norfolk Triangle," or TNT for short (outlined below, plus Peacevale and Whitman Streets to the south).

These 13 short streets are home to over 1,300 people, one-third of which are under the age of 18.  All of our staff live in or near this neighborhood, and are committed to being great neighbors.  While there are many challenges we face, there is also much hope!  Together with neighbors and volunteers, we are working to build a community that reflects God's Shalom - His desire for wholeness in every part of our lives.

We believe God's future for The Boston Project may include expanding into new and nearby neighborhoods.  Until then, we will continue to love, live, work, worship, and play on these 13 streets.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas,

The Boston Project family
Paul & Glenna, Keith & Sarah, Ben & Liz, Dana, Mayonne and Sherimon

We hope you are inspired and encouraged by these Boston Project reflections.  Our ministry is possible because of you - your prayers, service, and financial support.

Please consider a gift this Christmas season. We depend on individual and church donations for over half of our operating budget.  Our 2011 unmet need is $22,000.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
