Message from
Mr. Jesse Johnson
I want to take this opportunity to welcome the new families to Park Maitland. I also want to thank all of the returning families for working together last year to ensure the safety of our Park Maitland family. I hope everyone experienced a fun and productive summer.  As we start the new school year there are a couple of things I want to remind everyone about.
  • Please refrain from using cell phones while in the carpool lines.
  • Have your child or children ready to exit your vehicle as you arrive at the station during drop off.
  • Ensure that your name placard remains visible until your child is safely in your vehicle during dismissal.
  • Please be patient and respectful to other drivers and our neighbors in the surrounding community.
  • Remember we must all work together to ensure the safety of our students, parents, faculty, and staff at Park Maitland.
  • Please do not arrive early for pick-up and DO NOT wait/park on Magnolia Avenue.
If you have any questions please feel free to email me at: [email protected] or call (407) 647-3038 x248.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation,

Jesse Johnson

Birthday Party Guidelines

We love birthdays at Park Maitland and use them as a special way to recognize each child.  We conduct parties during "Morning Meeting" times and ask parents to bring a healthy breakfast item if they choose.  Please let your teacher know one week in advance to coordinate.

Please ensure treats are mini servings and low sugar foods. Great examples are fruit kebabs, granola bars, yogurt, mini muffins, or doughnut holes.

Don't let your child be left out in the rain!
Please make sure each child brings a rain poncho in their bag every day!

School Fundraisers

You may have noticed a few fundraising opportunities in your child's Meet & Greet packet last week.  Please know that participation in any school fundraiser is by your choice only. Tuition payments cover expenses at Park Maitland School (teacher salaries, plant maintenance, educational materials, etc. as per our budget).  Fundraisers help to provide "extras" that will benefit the school and your children.  Our school was founded in 1968 as a family-owned and operated business, and it still operates that way today.  It is not a large, "for profit" business that cares only about making money.  It is, instead, a work of "love" and a source of great pride. We work very hard to make Park Maitland the best school possible!
