Volunteer Jean Larkin recently picked a bouquet of snapdragons from the Botanic Garden’s Greenhouse and arranged them for the front desk
This is the time of year when there are more blooms in the solar greenhouse than any other time of year.
If you are suffering from cabin fever, plan to visit the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens solar greenhouse. Soon many of the beds will be converted to growing seedlings for the outside flower beds around on the Botanic Garden grounds and around Cheyenne’s parks, Depot square and parkways.
The Greenhouse is at 710 S. Lions Park Dr.

The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens has a long tradition of employing college interns who come from out of town for the summer to work and learn about working in a public garden.

The Wyoming Prairie Rose Society
meets regularly to share hardy selections, growing tips for our challenging climate.
Meetings are held at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens meeting room at 4:30 unless otherwise noted .

4 p.m. Learn to dye and dye eggs with vegetables. $5 per child, please pre-register.
Every Friday at 11 am
For pre-school aged children, stories and crafts are based on a weekly theme. $1 per child.
