Well, the weather forecast looks great for our outdoor feast this Saturday, July 21st, our Farm to City and Slow Food Philly collaboration event, Good Food, Good Beer and the Rest is History. Please come out and support us!
When: Saturday, July 21st, 6-9pm
Where: Under the cover of the Shambles, Head House Square, Society Hill, 2nd & Lombard Streets
Tickets: $30 in advance, Advance ticket sales close at 11am on Saturday morning and then we will be selling tickets at the door for $35 cash only.

Our lineup includes...
- 5 food trucks that support the Buy Fresh, Buy Local Campaign
- 4 local breweries sampling seasonal beers
- 3 food demos including Roberta Adamo performing a pasta demo, Andrea Rossi from C19 with a cooking demo, and DiBruno Brothers showing you how to make fresh burrata cheese
- Other guests sampling food
Seating will be provided so come as a group and share a table.

Slow Food Seminars, Fall 2012
Here is a preview of our Fall lineup of Seminars at the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in West Philadelphia;
We moved to Thursday evening and will keep our $20 admission fee. More information to follow.
- Thursday, September 20th, Philadelphia Distilling Company makers of such great products as Penn 1681 Vodka and Bluecoat Gin will discuss distillation and easy cocktails to make at home.
- Thursday, October 18th, Kallari Cacao Growers Cooperative from Ecuador in a rare visit to Philly to celebrate Fair Trade month talking about their cacao farms and tasting their amazing chocolate.
- Thursday, November 15th, Fair Food will show you how to celebrate Thanksgiving locally.
- Thursday, December 13th, Philly Fair Trade Roasters, Joe Cesa leading a discussion on what it means to be Fair Trade Certified and roasting Arabica coffee beans.
