Opening day was a tremendous success! Eager for a taste of spring and a stroll in the sun, you came out in record numbers. Thanks to all of our customers for choosing to buy local and supporting our markets. You cheered agriculture, its fabulous food products, and the 25th anniversary limited edition "Funky Rooster" t-shirt. Stop by the Info Booth this Saturday for a peek at our 2nd place winning t-shirt "Local Rules" - we know you'll love it. And thanks to all of our Market Bucks customers for being patient and understanding as we transition to a new system. In case you missed it, due to high overhead, we're charging a nominal $1.50 convenience fee for market buck transactions with credit or debit card purchases. It's a one-swipe charge for any amount. The minimum purchase is still $20, but you can now purchase market bucks in $5 increments.
