Congratulations...

you have been selected as a 2011 Horribly Hilly Hundreds lottery winner!

Thank you for participating in the inaugural full lottery for this event.  We appreciate your interest in the HHH, as well as your patience as the details get worked out.

A few things to note before you visit active.com to register:

Registration is open from Tuesday February 1st through Friday February 18th.  It is vital that you register in this time frame or your winner status will be forfeited.

If your name was selected as a winner, you are the only person who can claim the winning spot.

Check out the complimentary training program from Specialists in Sports Performance, accessible from the training tab of the Horribly Hilly website.

There are many hotels located within a reasonable driving distance of Blue Mounds.  Please visit our website for a complete listing.

Because not everyone likes receiving multiple e-mails from us, look for updates about the event on the Blog and News tab of the Horribly Hilly website.

Looking for some new hills and a little change in scenery?  Try the newly added 150k route this year.  The map and cue sheet is currently 'under construction', but will be added to the website when complete.  Climbing elevation of over 9000 feet...

When registering, don't forget to check out this year's merchandise which includes jerseys as well as shorts or bibs.  It's best to pre-purchase these items if you're hoping to add them to your cycling wardrobe!  There will be a limited quantity of jerseys and shorts available to purchase the day of the event.  We'll also have socks(new this year), hats, static stickers and other swag available for purchase the day of the event.

The Horribly Hilly Hundreds is owned by the Friends of Blue Mound State Park, a non-profit organization.  All proceeds from this event benefit either the park via improvements, or area communities.  The Friends are knee-deep in plans to add a warming house to the park and are responsible for all costs.  If you're interested in helping bring this project to completion, please consider an extra [tax deductable] donation when registering.

Thank you for your interest in the Horribly Hilly Hundreds!

This year we're celebrating our 9th year of being the Toughest One Day Challenge Ride in the Midwest, and can't wait to celebrate with you.

Sincerely,

Shelby Retzlaff
