Cowgirl Bootcamp

Challenge yourself and head to the west for a special event for aspiring cowgirls. Open to women of all 'cowgirl' levels and a great time to learn horsemanship, roping skills and working with cattle. Our season opening begins every May long weekend showcasing one of the few remaining cattle drives in Canada. This annual event is one of the most popular at the ranch and offers guests the exclusive opportunity to be part of an authentic cowboy (and cowgirl) experience.

Nemaiah Valley Rodeo
July 29 - August 1, 2011
This is the real deal, with real cowboys and bull riders. It's got everything from barrel racing to bronc riding and is home to the world-famous downhill Mountain Race. Guests will be escorted to the Nemaiah Valley rodeo grounds where they will witness locals and top riders of the BCRA in action. There is also plenty of time to enjoy all the activities that Elkin Creek Guest Ranch has to offer. |
