Registration Deadline is February 10
If you or your congregation has not registered for Assembly, time is running out. The deadline for registrations is Friday, February 10 at midnight. The deadline for refunds is next Friday, February 3. We still have 25 congregations who have not registered any voting members. New Voting Member Orientation
For those of you who are first-time voting members, we invite you to a new voting member orientation on Friday, February 17, starting promptly at 9:15, right after Opening Worship in the Sanctuary at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran. We will go over the day and answer questions you may have.

Has Your Congregation Registered a Youth Voting Member?
Thanks to a synod assembly resolution in 2008, each congregation in our synod is allowed an additional youth (age 15-18) voting member in addition to its allotted number of voting members! We currently have only 34 youth registered to attend the Assembly, and we have 155 congregations. So, many more are welcome! Please help identify a youth person and ask them to join us at this year's Assembly.
There is a couple of special "extras" for youth voting members at Assembly. There will be a youth hospitality room with extra snacks, and comfy chairs. They are also invited to have lunch with Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson and Interim Bishop Glenn Nycklemoe on Friday. This is where youth can ask the bishops everything they always wanted to know about being a bishop.
