Mind Mapping: How visual thinking increases productivity
Thursday, September 20, 2012
12:00 Noon to 1:30 PM
Keller Williams Realty
1619 Walnut Street, 5th Floor
Presented by
Jesse Berg, MSIT, Med, President, Visual LEAP
Do you consider yourself a visual learner? Did you know you could use this trait to simplify work and increase productivity - even with tasks like writing and public speaking? Mind mapping is a unique method of organizing ideas visually, and it is easy to do because it matches how people naturally think.
Mind mapping is well known for brainstorming, but it is effective in other areas too. In fact, when created with technology, mind maps can become collaborative and interactive. They can integrate with Word and PowerPoint and other programs and apps.
Join CCPA for this interactive BrainTrust as we quickly master three key rules of mind mapping and examine templates for planning, analyzing and completing of tasks. We will dive right in and create mind maps that tackle pressing professional projects. Participants will create a mind map that simplifies a current perplexing professional challenge.
Jesse Berg, MSIT, M.Ed. is the founder and president of a unique company called Visual Leap. Their mission is to improve efficiency, productivity and learning with proven "visual thinking" strategies to make complex tasks easier. Berg's work coaching, training and designing visual learning solutions at the K-12, university and corporate levels has proven that these methods improve productivity and achievement in any arena - even at home. Visual Leap works with individuals and organizations to determine which strategies and tools will yield maximum benefit. They design and implement solutions through training and software or cloud based tools.
