Over the years, scores of authors and hundreds of book lovers have experienced the Dayton Book Expo (DBE). Now, it's your turn to enjoy literary fun at our fourth annual event.
 
Our dedicated book lovers are looking forward to meeting you. This means an opportunity for you to showcase and autograph your books. The all-day event - which is free and open to the public - includes panel discussions for aspiring authors, activities for children at the Kidz Zone, spoken word and book signings!
 
To express our appreciation for your commitment to literacy in Dayton, we're offering an incentive registration through December 1, 2012. If you're an author, you don't want to miss your opportunity to connect with hundreds of avid book lovers.

A Call for Authors
 
Tables are only for authors. Set-up begins at 9:30 AM. Tables must be completely set-up by 10:30 AM. The DBE begins promptly at 11:00 AM.
 
NOTE: One author per table. Floor displays must be positioned behind the author table. Table-top displays cannot exceed 24" in height.

Your participation includes
  • One table (not skirted) and two chairs
  • Listing in the DBE booklet (8.5" x 11" color)
  • One access pass to the DBE Hospitality Room for breakfast
  • One parking pass
  • Event-day sales reported to New York Times
  • Online presence at DaytonBookExpo.com
  • Inclusion in the DBE Awards:
    • Genre-specific winners - based on event-day sales - will receive a plaque, book medallions and listing for a year at DaytonBookExpo.com
    • Titles distributed through Amazon.com will be posted on the DBE Virtual Bookstore. Annual top sellers will be spotlighted at the 2014 event.

DBE is providing additional promotional opportunities including featured-author ads in the booklet, cover images on 10,000 postcards and new release celebration party.
