Plan now to attend the 2013 Optimist International Convention!  The convention will take place July 4-6, 2013, at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Join fellow Optimists from around the world for training, fellowship and fun and enjoy all that Cincinnati has to offer.

Registration
Register now for the convention online at www.optimist.org/convention. Or, download the 2013 Convention Registration Form and register by mail or fax (please note that this registration form is the most updated version and replaces any forms that you may have already received).
Housing
Convention attendees can choose from one of two official convention hotels. The Millennium Hotel Cincinnati is connected to the Duke Energy Convention Center and the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza is only one block away. Book your room now to guarantee your reservation. Travel
Airline, train and rental car discounts are available to convention attendees.  Check out the airline discount codes for Air Canada, American Airlines and Delta.  If you are interested in traveling by train, Amtrak will offer a discount too.  Rental car specials are available through Budget and Enterprise.  For more details, click here.

Cincinnati Fun Facts
Dozens of famous historical figures were born in the Cincinnati area including the 23rd President of the United States, Benjamin Harrison, Civil War General and 18th United States President Ulysses S. Grant and the 27th President of the United States William Howard Taft.

Other noteworthy individuals with ties to Cincinnati include Neil Armstrong, Andy Williams, Doris Day, Roy Rogers, Steven Spielberg and Ted Turner.
