December is always a hectic month here. We're working hard to bring you a great selection of new books, models, DVDs, artwork and other memorabilia in time for the Holidays. UPDATE: 1/18 scale 2014 LeMans Corvettes by BBR

To follow up on last week's announcement that BBR has added 1/18 scale Limited Edition models of both 2014 LeMans Corvette Racing C7Rs to their lineup, we're told that both the 73 and 74 car will arrive in the US by mid-December. Your response to last week's email was so strong that we reserved a few extra pieces for those of you who may have missed last Wednesday's cutoff.

Mattel - Ferrari Partnership Ends December 31

As most of you know, Mattel has held an exclusive licensing arrangement with Ferrari for diecast cars since the late 1990s. At first, the Mattel product was rather crude compared with the previous releases from Minichamps and others. However, in recent years, the Hot Wheels Elite Ferraris have become more impressive and extremely popular. According to the press release, the two parties have mutually agreed not to renew their arrangement, which expires at the end of the year. There have been lots of questions regarding models announced by Hot Wheels Elite that have not yet been produced. Some have been canceled but we've been informed that both the 1/18 scale LaFerrari and Niki Lauda Ferrari 312T2 will still be released as planned. The LaFerrari will be here by February, the Lauda (hopefully) soon afterwards. There's still time to reserve one of these 'end of an era' pieces. Click on the links to order.
