Apalachicola 2014...Dixie Theatre continues to celebrate 100 years...that is until April, when we turn 101 - yikes!! Professional Season 17 has much to entice you, so come on and help us entertain you!! We have Big Band sound, 50's fun, 2 performers that ranked in the Top 30 Female Vocalists on The Alternate Roots list - wow! Familiar Old Folkies, a new Old Blue Eyes, North Florida's premiere Ballet, Patsy, Loretta, Tammy & Reba and the Piano Master himself, two Dixie Company shows in Rotating Repertory, the King, et al, Irish and Saltwater music and finally, to help end the season properly: The House Band! Tom Tiffin's incredible ART has been and will continue to grace the Theatre walls, thank you Tom!!! Our beloved Margo Anderson, back for her 7 th year, brings the talented Encore Band with her portrayal of Patsy. This season includes her tributes to Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and Reba McEntire...that hasn't been seen by Dixie Theatre goers in many years, it's remarkable.

Jeffrey Hatcher is a genius! We found that out in 2010 with our production of MURDERERS. Well he's at it again, only this time with his memoir "of sorts" recounting his experiences in his 1967 etiquette class. This offering will certainly assure his place as the best of the best playwrights, you'll be amazed.

Thank you St. Paddy! After the Ned Devines made their final appearance in 2013 right here at the Dixie, we thought Irish music might be tricky. Never fear, Tim Kerns put together some of the best musicians around and a new vocalist to make sure we stay on track and walk the Sligo Line.

Florida's premiere performer returns for his 4 th Season and we couldn't be happier! Del is an award-winning singer/songwriter/guitarist...one of those individuals who may come on stage as a stranger, but leaves it a friend. Danica Winter, Pete Winter, Chuck Parker gracing the stage as well, yea!!
Sarah Mac Band

The "Dixie House Band" back for their 5th season! This band has garnered attention across the Southeast and Sarah ranked #14 on The Alternate Roots list of the Top 30 Female Vocalists. They said of Sarah "something really special...we've never looked at female vocalists the same...a booming voice... refreshes like a cool breeze blowing through a hot smoky nightclub." With Charlie's intricate guitar work and Claire's solid, intriguing bass lines, we feel so lucky to have them back where they belong...in the house!
