St. Mary's Reads partnership reaches children in the St. Mary's County Department of Social Services' Lexington Park waiting room.
College of Southern Maryland Nonprofit Institute
partnership expanded the reach of the Library's Foundation Center's resources and workshops.
Job Search services improved and expanded: workshops and training conducted by staff as well as visits to all three branches by the Southern Maryland JobSource Mobile Career Center.
Senior Community Service Employment Service
provides an experienced and diligent staff member at Leonardtown and Lexington Park libraries.

Kindergarten Here We Come program, which included a real school bus visit, helping kindergartners (and their families) get ready for the big day.
Tots & Tech flyer and webpage were created to help make screen time fun and educational for young children. growingSTEMS partnership provided engaging, hands-on STEM activities for all ages. 
WoW bags were created focusing on STEM and social and emotional topics for young children and their parents or caregivers.

Friends of the Library
continue to support the library and raise funds by conducting a fall mini book sale and the March mega book sale.
Accomplished Staff
- Catherine DiCristofaro, Charlotte Hall Branch Manager, and Jill Hutchison, Assistant Branch Manager at Leonardtown, earned their Master of Library & Information Science degrees.
- Deputy Director Mary Anne Bowman is a proud graduate of Leadership Southern Maryland 2014 Class.
New online catalog was introduced, improving the online experience for customers and staff. Leonardtown Library renovation plans were started by the architect hired by the County Commissioners.

E-volving into the digital age
Digitization of the local newspapers microfilm collection
was accomplished through a partnership with The Enterprise and Post Community Media, LLC; the St. Mary's County Board of Library Trustees including the Midge Cannetti Fund; St. Mary's College of Maryland Library, St. Mary's County Historical Society, St. Mary's County Genealogical Society, and Balance Imaging Solutions, LLC.
Mobile print service
provides remote printing from anywhere using a smartphone, tablet or computer.
iPads 
with appropriate apps were made available for use in the library.
Zinio downloadable magazine
collection increased to 87 popular titles which can be downloaded to a tablet or computer.

One-on-one training continued to be provided for digital devices and e-resources.
