After two rounds of the 2015 Formula One World Championship, it looks like there are several interesting story lines developing:

- Will Vettel and Ferrari be able to consistently challenge Mercedes for the Championship or will Hamilton's raw talent and the German manufacturer's unlimited resources prevail? 

- Will Kimi and Nico challenge their teammates, or be relegated to permanent number 2 status? 

- Can Williams step up and challenge the two leading teams? 

- How about those two kids at Scuderia Toro Rosso? Not to mention the pair at Sauber/Ferrari!

Tonight, the battle will continue in Shanghai. Set your DVR!

Late last week, Minichamps announced their 2015 Formula One program, which includes   1/43 metal diecast, 1/43 resin and 1/18 metal diecast models. Listed are the Mercedes, McLaren, Red Bull, Williams, Force India, Toro Rosso, Lotus and Sauber teams. 

You can click here or on the links above for the exact rundown. As is always the case, we have a very short window in which to place our order with Minichamps in order to guarantee quantities. Therefore:

Pre-order any model from the 1/43 scale resin list by Friday, April 17, and we'll give a 10% discount from the listed price.  

All orders placed by Friday, April 17 from any model in the 2015 Minichamps F1 Collection will be protected from any price increases that crop up between now and the release date.

No reliable release dates but - as a reference - we have just received the 1/43 2014 McLarens and are still waiting for the 1/18 McLarens & Mercedes from last year.

Regarding the other two teams, there is no word on Marussia or Ferrari models at this time. Spark Model has not announced any 2015 F1 models yet.  As you know, Mattel's contract with Ferrari expired at the end of 2014. We understand Bburago / Maisto now has the Ferrari deal.
