POSTER SESSIONS

The Program Committee for the 2015 ITEM Fall Conference is looking for information technology professionals to present a 45 minute POSTER session around the theme of Connect, Collaborate and Create.

A poster session is similar to a science fair exhibit where you create or bring visuals to engage a passerby. You want people to stop and learn about your topic/idea/lesson approach. The audience may stay for a brief time or want to learn more and stay and chat as other people peruse your table.

There are many ways to approach your session. You may prepare materials for your audience to take away with them to recreate it for themselves, offer them a link to your materials or point them in the right direction to learn more on their own.

Ignite an interest, share your passion, or simply direct people to an existing resource and how you use it.

A maximum of two presenters per POSTER is recommended. We are seeking POSTER presentations in the following strands:

- Curriculum and Collaboration
- Professional Development
- Technology Integration
- Literature and Reading

The lead presenter of each poster session may choose a free one year ITEM membership.
