The German Center for Research and Innovation (GCRI) team wishes all of our E-NNOVATION GERMANY readers happy holidays and a healthy new year!

Since the launch of the GCRI website www.germaninnovation.org in 2011, we have continued to add new features to showcase Germany as a land of ideas and a destination for research, work, study, and business.
In January, 2017, the GCRI will add a blog to its website! The blog will include interviews with thought leaders, information about events, cutting-edge technologies, startups, scientific discoveries, and more. It will be accessible from the GCRI homepage. If you have any suggestions for GCRI's new blog topics, please email them to Edwin Linderkamp, the GCRI Communications Officer at [email protected].
Germany is one of the most popular destinations in the world for international students and researchers, and offers a wealth of funding for such pursuits. The GCRI website provides an in-depth overview of funding organizations, databases, and programs. Under Funding & Resources, we have organized funding programs into five different categories: Undergraduates, Graduates & Doctoral Students, Postdocs, Faculty & Researchers, and Business & Industry. Our Entrepreneurship Funding page outlines resources at the federal and state levels. Interested in pursuing a doctorate in Germany? Our Videos page features video recordings of our past events, such as Learning to Learn - How the Brain Creates Memory with Prof. Dr. Denise Manahan-Vaughan. For those who prefer to listen to past GCRI discussions and presentations, our Podcasts page allows you to download recordings and listen to them right away.
Visit our Newsletter page, which contains all of our past E-NNOVATION Germany issues, with topics such as mental health, entrepreneurship, nutrition, artificial intelligence, and the aging brain. On the Interviews page, we present interviews with Germany's leading experts.
