Farmer of the Year Nominations: MOSES is taking nominations for Organic Farmer of the Year. This award recognizes organic farmers who practice outstanding land stewardship, innovation and outreach. The award is presented at the annual MOSES Organic Farming Conference at the end of February in La Crosse, Wis.

Water is one of the most important elements of growing plants. When there is not enough rain to provide it, farmers need to use irrigation.
Fried Rice is a dish that can quickly be learned and then adapted. You will be whipping up your own creations without recipes in no time. Here are some tips and advice along with a sample recipe to get you going. We made some in the farm kitchen last night with onion and romanesco in it.

In case you missed it. We do recommend that members eat melons quickly after they pick them up. If you get a melon that is damaged or has gone bad, don't hesitate to give us a call. We will do everything we can to replace it the following week for you.
