Our May 10, 2017, Polish American Business Expo was a resounding success. We thank everyone who spent all or a part of the afternoon with us at the friendly confines of the Copernicus Center Annex.
The Expo was a fascinating assemblage of products and services that served to underscore the entrepreneurial spirit and the diversity of the Polish American business community. We are very grateful for the planning and care that exhibiting companies displayed, and were impressed by the variety and style of presentations. Thanks to the presence of agencies providing business support services, the event was also a valuable resource for business owners and for entrepreneurs seeking to initiate and expand their relationships or looking to learn from experts.
This year's Expo was a memorable event also thanks to the presence and remarks offered by special guests, including Undersecretary of State Mariusz Haladyj, Ministry of Development Republic of Poland; Consul General Piotr Janicki; Congressman Mike Quigley; Kristen Sweat of the Illinois Competitiveness Council; Alderman John Arena (45th Ward); Commissioner Samantha Fields, BACP City of Chicago; Cathy Kwiatkowski, Director of Public Affairs, City of Chicago Department of Procurement Services; Celeste Gabinski of Sen. Durbin's Office; and others.
Much appreciation is extended to all PACC volunteers and staff who helped produce the event by transforming the venue into a rich and lively showcase of Chicago's Polish American business community.
Overall, the event's success was to a large degree made possible by the generosity and participation of sponsors and media partners. Their support and presence added invaluably to the decorous and engaging atmosphere of the event.
Thank you again!
