Streets Alive! 2017
Streets Alive! gets more popular each year and every new exhibitor and entertainer brings additional visitors to our festival - meaning more visibility for your organization or group!

What's New, Back By Popular Demand

Music - Visitor favorites the String Beans, Cool Poppas, and the Lincoln Ukulele Group are back.  New entertainment includes the Nebraska Music Academy.
Dance - Favorites Lincoln Irish Dancers are back.  New this year are the Boys & Girls Club Dance & Drill Team and the Lincoln Dance Centre.
Farmer's Markets & Tastings - Community Crops Veggie Van again brings their fresh local produce.  New this year, they are offering tastings to festival goers! The popular mobile hydration stations are also back.
Sports/Fitness - Studio 4:8 is back offering join-in yoga.  Pinnacle Sports & Fitness joins the lineup, as well as Pure Barre who offers a low impact total body workout and Camp Sonshine who will bring their archery tag.  Last year, special guests, the UNL Men's and Women's Basketball teams came and scrimmaged with neighborhood children and we look for them to show up again.

Exhibitor Tables

Exhibiting at Streets Alive! is FREE. As an exhibitor in this year's event, your will have a one-on-one outreach opportunity to provide information about your organization and its mission and the resources you offer. We encourage interactive exhibits that engage participants to learn and have fun!

Fitness Demonstrations, Classes
The mission of Streets Alive! aims to promote physical activity for all!  We will have several fitness sites.

If your organization has a fitness discipline and you are interested in teaching a class, we invite you to sign-up for a time slot at one of the two fitness sites.  To maintain your organization's information table during your class time, let us know if you will need a volunteer to staff it during your activity.

Food Vendors
Farmer's markets and healthy food vendors are welcome in our food court.  The food court will be in a highly visible location.

*Fitness stage or food vendor interest can be indicated within the online exhibitor application."

Entertainment Sites
Sing, dance, do magic tricks, make balloon animals, do puppet shows - a variety of entertainers are encouraged to participate! Garage bands or any wholesome entertainment is welcome.  There are several designated entertainment sites.  Come energize the crowd as they make their way along the route.

Info Booths
There will be several information booths around the route.  These will be "hub" sites with information to aid exhibitors, entertainers, volunteers, and attendees.   Look for the canopies at these locations for assistance throughout the event .
