2017 TEAMS Competition Components

The 2017 TEAMS competition format  includes three competition components. TEAMS coaches who have completed registration for at least one team have access to competition resource documents through their online TEAMS coach account.

These resources include: 

Essay -
  • Prompt and regulations
  • Rubric
  • FAQ
  • Submission links (active November 15, 2016)
Multiple Choice - 
  • Scenario overviews
  • Math guidelines
  • Unit conversions using dimensional analysis
Design/Build - 
  • Background information
  • Materials list (NOTE: each team is responsible for bringing these materials to the competition on competition day)
  • Decision making strategies
