REGISTRATION REMINDER

Registration for recreation programs (excluding swim lessons) in the 2018 Spring & Summer Program Book began Monday, March 19 for everyone ! There is no longer a time period where just Little Chute residents/taxpayers can register for programs prior to non-residents. Non-residents pay a higher fee to register for programs, because our rec programs are supported by village resident taxpayer dollars.

Families can register for rec programs (excluding swim lessons) whichever way is most convenient to them.
* Online - must be setup account prior to registration
* In Person - office located at 108 W. Main St (2nd floor)
* By Mail - registration form located in back of program book

SENIOR BUS TRIP TO LAMBEAU FIELD

If you are age 55 or older, come join us as we take a coach bus trip to Green Bay's Lambeau Field on Wednesday, May 16 .  We will learn all the incredible history of the Packers with a guided tour of several behind-the-scenes areas at Lambeau Field (club level seating areas, tunnel, field, south end, roof loft, atrium), as well as the historical galleries of the Packer Hall of Fame. Option to visit the Pro-Shop if you wish. Lunch is provided. Bus will depart at 9:30am & return at 4:30pm to downtown Kaukauna parking lot.  Cost is $60 per person.  Registration begins 4/9, and ends 5/8.  Spaces will fill up fast!   Little Chute has 12 seats on the bus to take registrations for (trip offered in partnership with the Kaukauna, Kimberly, and Appleton Rec Departments). 
CHUTE-ING STARS COMPETITIVE DANCE TEAM TRYOUTS REMINDER

Interested dancers and a parent must attend a meeting with the team coaches on Monday, April 9 at 5:30pm in the LC High School Auditorium.  Following the meeting, dancers will have a workshop until 8pm to start learning a routine. Dancers will then meet on April 10 & 12 from 6pm to 8pm in the LC Elementary School Gym. Tryouts will be held in the evening on April 13 (dancers assigned tryout time).  If you haven't picked up your child's tryout packet, click the included link.  Last two pages of tryout packet must be completed and brought to meeting on April 9. 
BAZAAR AFTER DARK COMING TO LITTLE CHUTE ON SATURDAY, APRIL 29

Downtown Little Chute will be the location of the next Bazaar After Dark, a popular night market, on Saturday, April 29 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.  The family-friendly street market will include live music, food, beverages, vendors, entertainers, artists, and interactive games. Mark your calendar to come downtown Little Chute that evening to checkout the event and the businesses that call the area home.  The event is put on by Pulse Young Professionals Network at the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce, who is partnering with local municipalities and Habitat for Humanity to kick off their 'Rock the Block' neighborhood builds.
ARBOR DAY OBSERVANCE
MONDAY, APRIL 30

The public is welcome to attend our Arbor Day Observance which will be held on Monday, April 30 at 1:30pm at Legion Park in Little Chute.  There will be a discussion about Arbor Day, the benefits of trees, how to properly plant and care for trees, and concludes with the planting of a tree. 4th grade elementary school students participate in the observance program each year and are provided a seedling to plant at their home. Let's get together and celebrate the importance of trees!

FACILITY RENTALS

If you are looking for a site to hold an upcoming 2018 event at, please give us a call at 423-3869 . Rentals for our open air park shelters are taken for the months of May, June, July, August, and September only. Rentals for our indoor rec center are taken for January through December (min.14 day notice required).  Reservations can be made by phone using a credit card, or can be made at Park & Rec using cash, check, or credit card. Full payment of rental fee and security deposit is due at the time of reservation.
