Last fall, Trimark signed an agreement to be a NEC reseller for their Distributed Storage Solution (DSS®). As a reseller, Trimark can install, operate and maintain NEC systems. The NEC storage system is a great fit for the commercial market or for microgrids. In addition to NEC, Trimark has worked with other storage systems in a range of installation sizes. The corporate world is getting very interested in storage and microgrids. There are many reasons for their interest: reliability, reducing costs and supporting environmental goals. It was exciting to see some of the microgrids installed in Puerto Rico. For the C&I market, Trimark has upgraded the T1-S Axiom monitoring system. While Axiom has been around awhile, it is a perfect fit for the smaller 1 MW and smaller markets. It is a cost-effective way to maximize solar performance with real-time monitoring.
In 2018 Trimark is looking to expand further into the government market. We have completed a number of projects for the Air Force, Navy and other federal sites and now we have gained our GSA contract in late 2017. We are always looking for companies that need support in their meter and renewable energy projects. We are currently working on a military base on a distributed energy resource (DER) project and have completed dozens of other projects.
