Our 2018 Spring/Summer Program Book is at the printer, and it will be delivered by mail in the middle of March to all Little Chute residents/taxpayers.  If you do not reside in Little Chute, starting in mid March you may view the program book on our village website or you can pick up a copy of the book in our office ( Village Hall, 108 W. Main St - 2nd floor).

Make sure you check out the book and see the numerous program offerings we have for kids and adults!   Information on Chute-ing Stars Dance Team, Pom and Dance Clinic, Youth Dance Classes, Tot Lot Program, tons of One-Day Youth Events, KidStage Theater, Family Fun Fest, Youth Carnival, Tiny Tots Playtime, Yoga for Kids, Fun With Food, Sports 60, Tumbling Tykes, Explore Nature, Bowling, Basketball, Home Alone/Sitter, Pee Wee Sports, Youth Flag Rugby, Jets Tackle Football, Tennis Lessons, Indoor Archery, Painting Classes, Martial Arts, Amazing Race, Movies on the Plaza, Sunday Night Fun Runs, Pages in the Park, Golf Lessons, Men's Softball, Adult Ultimate Frisbee, Senior Bus Trips, Senior Activities, Classic Movie Monday, Summer Soaker Events at Pool, and Swimming Lessons are located in the book.

Registration for rec programs begins March 19!

Is your child interested in applying for a summer job to be a Pool Cashier, Lifeguard, Parks/Forestry/Street Laborer, Recreation Instructor, or Softball Scorer? Then please click the included link for our seasonal application.  The final deadline for applications is Friday, March 9!

If you are interested in becoming a vendor or performing at this year's Village Market, please click the included link for more information. Village Market is held on the downtown Windmill Plaza on Thursdays from 2pm to 6pm starting in mid June.  If you would like to be a part of the 2018 Village Market now is the time to apply!  Deadline to be considered for first-round pick of vendors is coming soon. 


If you are looking for a site to hold an upcoming 2018 event at, please give us a call at 423-3869 . Rentals for our open air park shelters are taken for the months of May, June, July, August, and September only. Rentals for our indoor rec center are taken for January through December (minimum of a 14 day notice is required).  Reservations can be made by phone using a credit card, or can be made at Park & Rec using cash, check, or credit card. Full payment of rental fee and security deposit is due at the time of reservation.

Does your child love to dance and perform? Then the Chute-ing Stars Dance Team may be what they are looking for! This is a competitive dance team for students entering 5th through 8th grade in the fall.  Interested dancers can pick up a Dance Team Tryout Packet at the LC Park & Rec from 3/19 through 4/6.  Completed papers must be brought to the mandatory parent and dance meeting Monday, April 9. Following the meeting, there will be a workshop for the dancers to start learning parts of a routine. Dancers will meet again on April 10 & 12 to learn and practice the routine. Team tryouts will be held Friday, April 13 (dancers assigned tryout time). This is a competitive dance team; dancers will be cut at tryouts. Preference will be given to dancers who attend a Little Chute school. Team season is June 2018 through January 2019. Tentative schedule will be in the tryout packet.

Check out the spring/summer program book when it comes out this month for our Indoor Archery Classes that will be held starting in April.  If you are a beginner or an expert, you will find that our archery classes have a lot to offer.  Archery classes will be held at indoor facility located at Van Lieshout Park on Thursday evenings. Class options include Beginner Archery  (youth ages 8 to 16) , Family Archery (person age 8 to 16 along with a person 18 or over) , and Open Archery (person age 16 to adult) . Class sizes are very limited so mark your calendar to register right away. Signup begins March 19.

Registration for recreation programs (excluding swim lessons) in the 2018 Spring & Summer Program Book will begin on Monday, March 19 for everyone !

Once registration opens, anyone can register for programs.  There is no longer a time period where just Little Chute residents/taxpayers can register for programs prior to non-residents. Non-residents pay a higher fee to register for programs, because our rec programs are supported by village resident taxpayer dollars.

Families can register for rec programs (excluding swim lessons) whichever way is most convenient to them.
