The Inaugural South Carolina Women's Open has finally made it to South Carolina. After years of discussion, the event has become a reality at the illustrious Seabrook Island Club - Oceanwinds Course. The event is modeled after other successful state opens throughout the country; a 54 hole championship for the Open Amateur and Professional Divisions and 36 hole championship for the Senior Amateurs and Senior Professional Divisions with a proposed purse of $10,000 for the professionals. The best of the best from South Carolina and around the world will be competing for the championship title August 10 - 12, 2018.
To make this the best Women's State Open in the country we are going to need help from everyone. If you are not able to play, we would love for you to be a part of the event by volunteering, being a sponsor, player housing host, or just come out and watch. Entries open for WSCGA members only May 18 - June 8, for all other participants around the world Entries open June 9 - July 30 (check tournament site for full eligibility requirements).
