TWO WEEKS UNTIL GRADUATION!

Everyone,

We are definitely on the countdown. Students are anxiously awaiting May 23rd - the Last Day of School. Seniors are thrilled about Graduation on May 24th at 7:00 p.m. at Dade County High School. Our students worked hard this year to see beyond the mountains.

At this time, I want to thank the many volunteers who give their time and talents to support our students. We appreciate our local businesses for their support as well. TOGETHER WE CLIMB is not just a motto....it is the truth in Dade County. Parents, educators and community members work as a team to help our students become mature, equipped citizens of character. We work to help prepare our students for college and/or career.

Our students appreciate your generous support, hard work, and dedication to their development, and it is on their behalf that I thank each of you today.

Please join me in sending our warm wishes to Coach Bradley Warren, Mrs. Allison Warren, and Taylor and Brett, as they begin their next chapter in McIntosh County. We thank Coach Warren for his dedication and leadership not only in the football arena, but in the total athletic program. Additionally, Mrs. Warren will be greatly missed at Dade Elementary.
CONGRATULATIONS!

What I’ve learned after four years of high school is that school is not the most important factor. Your education is. School and education are two very different things. Focus on your education: your exploration of subjects and hobbies you personally take pride in, your developing perspectives, and your growth as an individual. Karen Zheng, DCHS

The joy of reading is found in the perfect book…...when you can’t stop reading. You’re up until 11 p.m. or later just reading. You lose yourself in the book. You cry and you laugh and you get frustrated. That is what good books do to people. The joy of reading overtakes them. Even people who say they hate reading always have that One Book. So, go out and find that One Book of yours. Sidney Jones, DMS
