Starting today, fans can purchase tickets for the upcoming 2019 U.S. Women's Open hosted at Charleston Country Club. The 74th annual tournament will be held May 30-June 2, 2019 and purchasing tickets early is highly recommended due to high interest of the Southeast. . Charleston Country Club will be a great test of skill and mental toughness for some of the most talented female golfers around the world, and it will be a great event to watch. Here are the ticket options as listed by the USGA:
"A selection of daily and multi-day package ticket options is available for the 74th U.S. Women’s Open, with prices starting at $40 for daily gallery tickets and $100 for packages, including:
- Palmetto Pavilion: Climate-controlled pavilion offering open seating, live network coverage of the championship in a sports bar-like setting, and a variety of exclusive food and beverage options available for purchase at an additional charge.
- Gallery Tickets: Access to the grounds and all concession locations, grandstands throughout the course and spectator experience facilities.
- Weekly Packages: Both Palmetto Pavilion and Gallery tickets can be purchased as a weeklong ticket package.
- Practice Round: Access to the course as players prepare during relaxed non-competition rounds.
Juniors age 18 and under receive complimentary entry when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. During practice-round days (Tuesday, May 28 and Wednesday, May 29), active military personnel receive complimentary Gallery tickets."
Volunteers are also able to register today for this event, and the WSCGA is looking for a minimum of 50 volunteers in order to "sponsor" a hole during the Open.
USGA will need a total of about 2500 volunteers for the week organized under 17 committees. These positions include: Marshals, Player Services, Leader Boards, and Merchandise. Volunteer assignments come on a first- come first-served basis.
