AIA MICHIGAN PREPARES FOR ANNUAL DESIGN RETREAT
September 14, 2015- Detroit, Michigan - The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Michigan is excited for the 26th Annual Design Retreat taking place at Camp Hayo-Went-Ha located in scenic Crystal Lake, Michigan on September 18-20.
This year marks the 26th retreat continuing a tradition of providing networking opportunities and discussions as to how the challenges of architectural design are handled by fellow members of the profession. The retreat is a unique occasion at which architects, students and design enthusiasts can converge in a relaxed setting and talk about design in a beautiful, rustic setting intended to recharge and inspire attendees.
We are featuring an all-star list of presentations with content ranging from new constructions of campus buildings and research facilities to outdoor playground structures. From imaginative, conceptual design to carefully detailed preservation, participants will learn and engage in discussion with presenters on projects from local, national and international levels.
Outstanding projects will be featured by Integrated Architecture, Lord Aeck & Sargent, SmithGroupJJR, Resendes Design Group, Myefski Architecture, McIntosh Poris Associates, Quinn Evans Architects, Constantine George Pappas AIA Architecture, Biddison Architecture + Design, Neumann/Smith Architecture, MAde Studio, LLC, Progressive AE, and U/M Christian Unverzagt.
