Bank Transfer Day founder shares how to attract young people to co-ops
A little over a year ago, Kristen Christian didn't even know what a credit union was. That quickly changed when the then 27-year-old Los Angeles art gallery owner learned about a new $5 transaction fee being implemented by Bank of America, provoking her to search the Internet for "alternative banking."
